Our 200+ Auxilians touch lives, lift spirits, and provide relief as they listen to patients and assist staff. Each is a priceless gift to St. Mary's of Michigan, our staff, patients, visitors, and community.

St. Mary's of Michigan Children's Free Ward Association
Since 1911, the Children’s Free Ward Association has made a difference in the medical care of children at St. Mary’s of Michigan.

More than 17,000 young patients visit St. Mary’s of Michigan in need of immediate medical attention. Whether purchasing rocking chairs to soothe sick children or pediatric wheelchairs for a more comfortable ride for X-rays, the Children’s Free Ward Association has funded medical equipment and programs for St. Mary’s of Michigan.

No matter the need, the Children’s Free Ward Association, in partnership with St. Mary’s of Michigan, is working to raise needed funds to purchase today’s leading-edge pediatric equipment to care for our youngest patients.
