Accreditations
St. Mary’s of Michigan Seton Cancer Institute is accredited by the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer (ACOS), the highest accreditation in mid-Michigan for comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care, and is designated by the ACOS as the only "teaching hospital cancer program” in the region. It is also the only institute in the region accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO).
ACRO is what sets us apart. Only one in four cancer programs gets accredited by ACRO.
St. Mary’s of Michigan is the only center in mid-Michigan designated as part of the Cancer Center Network and is one of only 12 partners in the National Cancer Institute’s Michigan Cancer Research Consortium (MCRC). As a partner in the MCRC’s Community Clinical Oncology Program we are able to provide patients access to national clinical trials offering the latest in cancer prevention and detection.
Our cutting edge treatments deliver the future today.
