Clinical Research
The St. Mary's of Michigan Oncology department has been
under the direction of Dr. Ernie P. Balcueva, Medical Director, for over 10
years. In collaboration with the
Michigan Cancer Research Consortium (MCRC), we are able to offer patients
advanced cancer treatment through clinical trials.
Actively working with radiation oncologists,
nearly 700 patients have enrolled and participated in clinical trials over the
past 10 years. This is the result of dedicated
efforts to initiate new treatment ideas and offer clinical trials to every
interested and eligible patient.
