Rehabilitation Services The rehabilitation experts at St. Mary’s of Michigan help patients live better following disease or after illness, injury, surgery or infection. A team of more than 50 licensed therapists delivers an in-depth array of services -- both inpatient and outpatient.

Goals and outcomes differ for each patient, so we tailor rehabilitation plans specifically to individual needs. Along with physicians and therapists, the rehabilitation team may include case managers, nurses, psychologists, social workers, other health care practitioners, as well as family members.
In addition to exercise and other treatment methods, the team can assist patients and their families with injury prevention, energy conservation, home evaluations, adaptive devices and safety recommendations.
All forms of rehabilitation require a prescription from a physician, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner. With that in hand, patients may choose where and with whom they would like to have rehabilitation.
