Breast Health
- Digital mammography -- we support the American Cancer Society recommendation of yearly mammograms for women beginning at age 40. Those at increased risk should talk with their doctor about earlier or more frequent mammograms.
- Cancer care -- our comprehensive breast cancer program is led by some of the region’s most experienced and compassionate cancer experts, including radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and surgeons. Woven throughout are St. Mary’s of Michigan associates -- nurse navigator, pastoral care, or support services -- that help patients and families on a journey that leads to good health and well being.
- Clinical trials -- allow our patients to participate in some of tomorrow’s most promising treatments today.
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery -- after the loss of breast or disfigurement by mastectomy.
