St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital is a not-for-profit critical access hospital governed by a board of directors, representing the geographic area it serves.
 
The primary service area includes all of Arenac County, and townships of bordering counties, such as the Pinconning community.  The hospital has 25 acute and critical care beds, and 43 skilled nursing beds.
